What exactly is play and playfulness? In this workshop, play expert Yesim Kunter will dive into this question and explore divergent vs convergent thinking. Following an introductory presentation, participants will experience some play activities to help develop and understand certain concepts:

About Yesim

Yesim Kunter is a recognized play expert and a creative strategist, understanding the behavior of people to create new experiences and define new opportunities.

Yesim is an independent consultant, developing play experiences for various customers for product development, applying Play Philosophy to spaces, environments, communities and culture creation, as well as market research with future scoping. She has trained organizations with diverse backgrounds (from kids to professionals) to leverage creativity and innovation through play workshops.

Yesim worked for 12 years in various countries with industry leaders such as Toys R Us, Lego and Hasbro. She's trained as a toy designer and has a passion for unraveling the future to identify and define new experiences; this transformed her career to become a play-futurist.

Yesim was brought up in Turkey and has lived in New York, Denmark, Billund and now in London. This gave her a multi-cultural perspective that helps her to become a keen observer of human behavior.
