Our physical environment, spoken and unspoken rules have a huge influence on how we behave, the choices we make and what we create. What happens when we intentionally create spaces at work, at home and on the playground that invite adventure and risk taking?
During this interstory Networking Lab, we will think about play spaces for children and adults. We will watch a 15-minute clip of a documentary on The Land (an adventure playground in Wales) and then break out into groups to discuss and debate questions around the topic of risk and adventure play.
Session Format
- 20-minute welcome and documentary viewing
- 40-minute breakout discussions and debates
- 30-minute whole group discussion and networking
About Anna and Chris
Anna and Chris Batchelder are co-founders of interstory and Bon Education. They have built educational programs for organizations across the Middle East, Asia and North America for two decades, working with clients like Google, Microsoft, CISCO, Expo 2020 Dubai, Canon, Emirates NBD, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, governments, ministries and more. Outside of work, Anna is a yogi and podcast junkie and Chris is always up to designing or building something new. They reside in the UAE with their three children.
